I feel my listening skill have been developing gradually by the following reasons. First of all, listening interaction and report activities are suit for me. There are three levels so if I feel difficulty in higher level listening, I can start from lower level. Second, most topics are around 2~3minutes talks or conversations and I can concentrate those length without being troubled. I'm not also irritated by listening it repeatedly. Third, the contents of topic are lots of variety and these are interesting, too. I can imagine the situation easily and also recalling past experiences. Due to these reasons, I think these materials are kind to students. I'd like to continue to use these to keep my listening ability developing. I believe that the more I do listening, the better my listening skill will be. I will also try to listen the English channels as many as I can to maintain my listening skill.

I am feeling that I am making big progress in listening skills especially through interactions. In the interaction I can watch videos of many genre, so I've remembered a lot of new vocabularies that I didn't know. I have noticed that I couldn't get the words because I didn't know the words from the start. Also the activities of the interactions helped me as well. By doing the assignment I concentrate on every word the speaker is saying and I became kind of able to understand what the speaker is saying even if he or she is speaking fast. After the class I sometimes look for DVDs and watch it in English. First I watch it in Japanese and then I watch it in English. I get really tired when I watch it in English because I have to concentrate for a long time but it is helping me in raising my listening skills. Recently I saw "Social Network" and I learned many new words concerned to business and the internet. I want to keep up my work in both IE and self-education and become confident in my listening skills by the end of this class.

By doing Interactions, Listening Reports and Really English, I feel my listening skill is gradually developing. I do not think it has extremely developed but it is coming better. By the way, Interactions are very excited for me because I can do both input and output. I think it is important to do both of these for getting clearly. Listening Reports are very fun too. It is difficult to have and write opinions but it’s a challengeable thing. However, to be frank to say, Really English is a little bit bother to me because it must be done three chapters to go next program. However, I think it is able to do step by step so I think it is very good for me. To maintain my listening skills after finishing this semester is, listening to some news many times. On my TV, I can watch BBC and CNN. So I think listening these English news are good for maintaining and developing my listening skills.

It is dufficult to listen to English for me, but my listening skills have become good than before. Listening Interaction was very hard because movie's character spoke English very fast. However, I borrowed DVD from a rental shop, and I listened to it and trailer again and again. When I could understand what characters said, I became very happy. Listening Report also a good thing to improve listening skills because we are requested not only that skills but also ability of summarization and givining an opinion. It must assist to improve my general skills. Really English is useful, too. I have tried to do level 2 to 3 because I think the vocablary level which I can understand easily is the best to listen to English. After the end of this course, I want to listen to English on the radio or TV to maintain my listening skills. If I make something a custom, this skills must progress more and more.

I think my English skill is getting better than after starting to take this class. But for me, the most important thing is continuing to study English. So after this semester, I would like to do some English studying activities. For example, I am not good at writing, so to write opinions to each listening report is challenging every time. Therefore, I would like to continue listening report by my own even finishing this class. I think it would be good for my listening and writing skills.

I feel that a spirit of self-advancement for listening has developed during the progress I've made with my listening skills this semester. It is not long time to study listening in the class so I can not realize that my ability grows up yet. However, it became a little bit easier to listen English than before. I felt that at the step of Really English. I think that Really English is good way to know my level because it has a kind of tests each section. I felt a difficulty and found a way to maintain my listening skills after IE class is finished when I did the preparation for interaction #2 about a movie trailer. There was not a subtitles in English on my trailer so I had to transcript by myself for transcription and activity on my interaction. It was hard for me to hear the characters' voices and phrases correctly. Then I think it will be a great step to train my ability to watch movies with English subtitles or without them. I like watching movies and of course I want to understand all what the characters do.

I feel my listening skill have been developing by this class's activities. At first, Really English is suit to me. It's short program so it's easy and it can enjoy of solve. Moreover, it has many kinds of situation so it is useful for me. I have already done over 20 units. I feel my skill of listening getting better. Interaction practice is good for me too. While we watching the video, we can learn new words from the video. I'd like to keep to study and want to develop my skill of listening. I believe and hope that if I practice more and more, my listening skill will get better than now. I will also challenge to listening and I'll do the best.

I feel my listening skills are getting better thanks to this semester. As for interactions, I think it is really good for me to make worksheets when I'm a group leader. I listened same sentences again and again. This is very helpful way for me to catch English words. The same can be said of listening reports. I can't make both interaction worksheets and listening reports without understanding what the sentences say. As for really English, it is useful to learn unknown words and how to use known words. It is divided for every theme and used many illustrations, so I can memorize words and learn how to use the words effectively. After this semester, I will watch overseas dramas, listening BBC Learning English on the train during going to school and so forth. I have to hear English every day in any case.

I feel that my listening skill is developing with listening interactions, listening report, and Really English. At the beginning of this semester, I chose an audio for the listening report from easy section. Now, I have an inclination to try a more difficult one. I chose an audio from middle section last time, so I want to choose one from difficult section next time. After this course is finished, I will have to make a lot of effort to maintain and improve still further my listening skills. The websites for listening reports may help me to keep studying English. I believe that watching movies in English is also useful. I can listen to radio programs broadcast from abroad with my smartphone. I have many tools to preserve my skills. Maybe the last one is not easy for me to catch the words. But I think I can listen without getting bored because there are many programs in the world.

Through listening report, I feel my listening skill is getting better. The first time of doing listening report, I was a little bit hard to listen a news. Some people speaks English so fast, or some peoples speaks British English. So I had to listen again and again. And I couldn't catch a word what they're saying. But now I had done five times of listening report, and I realized that times of listening was getting increase. Also I can understand British English more easier than before. If I keep continue,I think I will be good at listening English. After finished this course, I hope I can watch a news in English. I want to listen English more easily and exactly.

I think I could improve my English in this semester. When I did listening report for the first time, I took time because I listen it many time. However, because of this effort, I could understand the video more. Also interactions was hard for me, in particular movie trailer was so difficult for me. It is so fast to read, and there are a lot of word I didn't know. However I repeated to listen, then I gradually could listen what the narrator said. After IE course, I'd like to watch movies with English subtitles to improve my listening skills. In addition, after watching with subtitles, I will try to watch without it. I like watching movies,so I believe I can keep to study listening. I think listening is base of speaking,so listening is very important to speak English also.

I really feel I’m making great progress with my listening skills by interactions, listening reports and Really English. Each program has good points that are effective in improving my proficiency in English. For example, I take dictation while watching videos for interactions. It is very hard for me, but my listening skill has been developing with doing that. In Really English, I can concentrate on listening English by taking tests with time limit. I suppose studying English from various aspects can connect to get high listening skill. To maintain my listening skill, I will try to keep studying English with setting my goal. One goal is getting a perfect score in listening part of TOEIC before graduating Aoyama Univ. The other is watching movies in English without subtitle. I want to make efforts to perfectly understand what characters are saying. These can be good to develop still more my listening ability.

I feel these activities have improved my listening skill. In the interaction, making transcription was the most difficult part. And I realized the reason why I cannot catch the sentence. That's why I tried to catch every single word. I found that native speakers speak connecting two or three words. So I remember some fixed patterns which native speaker often uses. Then I'm gradually getting to be able to catch the words. I think there are some ways to maintain my listening skill. One is that watching news and movies in English. I guess it's not only the best way to maintain and also it's good way to know real English. I mean I can know the English which native speaker speak naturally. So I would like to maintain my listening skill by watching news and movies after I finished this course.

Honestly I don't know how I progress, but my consciousness for English is changing. For example I listen more carefully than last semester. Last semester I didn’t mind if I couldn’t hear what you say. In addition When I listen music that sung in English I listen the song until I become able to listen the lyrics. It is good effect by IE class. After I finish IE class I would like to continue listening ‘BBC Learning English’ that I use for listening report. I think it is very effective and meaningful to continue in two meanings. First I can listen more clearly thorough this for free. Second it is good opportunity for me to think social problem. I would like to continue this program regularly.

I think my listening skill's improving after taking this class. Because of this class have to take in English, I think it improve my listening skill the most. I have to listen all explanations and instructions in English. Also when I did listening interaction, I couldn't get what the parts of video said. I watched the video many times and I tried to get the transcription. I think the process of listening what can't understand many times and getting answer is very important. This process is in many times when I doing the listening interaction. Also when I was choosing the topic of listening interaction, I watched many kinds of video. I tried to use the topic which easy to talk in the class. This activity took lots of time, and I listen to same video many many times, so I think my listening skill is improving more in this semester.
